I would rate this place 10 stars if I could. The place is simply beautiful. The atmosphere is great, and food is amazing. We tried almost everything. The pizzoccheri is outstanding, polenta uncia simply divine. Likely we were also the only guests, so we enjoyed in full every minute of our stay. There are also different places, in the woodland where to go before or after lunch for a relaxing walk in the spactacular and wild nature that is around the Crotto. Siamo venuti da Bergamo su consiglio di amici e il pranzo ha ricompensato la strada. La location è molto caratteristica, pare di essere ospitati in una baita di montagna riscaldata con delle vecchie stufe a legna che ti fanno sentire accolto e a proprio agio. All'esterno c'è un bel parcheggio comodo in grado di ospitare abbastanza macchine per tutti gli ospiti. Il ristorante è immerso nel verde tra boschi e prati, per gli amanti della montagna un bel paradiso. Il cibo merita 4 stelle perché la maggior parte degli ingredienti è a km 0 e di buona qualità, lascio 3 stelle solo per il fatto che c'è un menù fisso e non alla carta quindi informatevi bene cosa prevede. Il servizio l'ho trovato eccellente, cordiale e ospitale, mai invasivo e simpatico. Se dopo il pranzo vi sentite appesantiti potete fare una piccola passeggiata alla chiesetta degli alpini dove potete ammirare una vista mozzafiato sul lago di Lugano. Unico neo della location magari è la strada, tutta asfaltata ma un pochino stretta. È comunque raggiungibile anche da un utilitaria ma ci sono molti tornanti. Polenta uncia, pizzoccheri, antipasti…wow! Everything was delicious. I highly recommend to come to Crotto also for the view you have of the Como lake from the top and for the mountain atmosphere you have once entering inside the woods. It was just an amazing experience from the food to the nature around us....
