We rented and stayed at a Villa about 3-5 minutes away, Montefalcone, and the owners of the Villa told us we just HAD to go eat at this local restaurant. Thank God we listened!
We are a 4 person family. All of us our foodies and 3 of us are chefs. Let's just say we love good food and most of our vacation pictures are pictures of the delicious plates of food we have enjoyed throughout our Italian vacation!
This is clearly a family oriented place with coin operated children's toys, and a small track of racing about in little electronic buggies. We arrived earlier then most Italians eat dinner and as a result had pretty much the whole restaurant to ourselves. That suited us just fine because my brother was able to use his phone and the Google Translate app to have conversations with the chefs, who were awesome!!
At one point, they invited my brother back into the kitchen to show him all the special and traditional dishes that they make. We ended up ordering SO much take away after tasting these phenomenal dishes. Do not miss the stewed pork with white beans! Hell, don't miss the white beans all on their own they were phenomenal!!
