Fantastic local cuisine, aged local cured hams, salamis, coppa and various other delicatessen with home made breads as starters, pasta dishes to follow that are a little more than the usual Italian fare and a choice of various meats as mains. I had the guinea fowl cooked in clay (grandma's recipe) which was tasty and tender and had crispy skin on top. Similar to duck confit without the "strong" duck taste. We've been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years - usually at the end of a few weeks stay in this lovely part of Italy.

The food is always perfect. Today we had a variety of starters - salumi misti (Terremorto di Nebbia), vellutata di asparagi and flan di zucchine.

This was followed by guanchialino di maiale and roasted faroana alla creta. We finished with semifreddo al torroncino and tarte tartin di mele.

The service is relaxed and friendly, the restaurant itself has timeless charm and a lovely ambience.
