This must be a new place judging by the light in the staff's eyes and the very low number of reviews for what's sure to become a local favourite.

We had the percorso degustativo di pesce, busiata trapanese, maccarruna alla norma, stuffed squid, mackerel fillet with melon, and Grotticelli salad. Everything was great. The squid had gone a bit colder by the time the rest of the secondi were ready but it still tasted good! We also had the white house wine which was lovely and refreshing. We also had the cakes of the day (a peach and chocolate and a canolo cake) which were particularly outstanding. The owners are a married couple, he is the food chef and she is the pastry chef. They are both very talented.

The service was very good, we received some breadsticks, freshly made bread, and tuna nigiri, all of which were perfect. The staff were helpful, professional, and also very friendly and sweet.

The atmosphere was relaxing, the view is gorgeous with hills on all sides, fresh air, and the distant bell chime from some nearby sheep. Even the local cat was particularly friendly for the area, although the staff were making valiant efforts to shoo it from main eating area.

Overall, I echo the prevailing view - the place is great. Probably the best food we've had in Sicily, definitely the best in the area. Definitely worth making the trip from wherever you are to...

Best pasta on the island! If you're in Sicily, don't miss this gem of an Italian restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the wonderfully friendly Alessia, who made us feel so at home.

The setting is gorgeous - great for families and for couples - and the food, prepared by head chef Vito, is spectacular. We loved the fresh fish, the delicious homemade bread and the pasta was one of the best we've had - perfectly cooked and richly flavoured. To top it off, the tiramisu was a heavenly end to the meal.

What a fantastic meal we had last night, we found this place by chance and would highly recommend it, if you are looking for a beautiful meal while you’re on holiday. Alessia Castronovo was a fantastic host. She was very welcoming and talked to us through the menu. Felt she was very pleased to try her English with us which was very nice. We were looking for a restaurant to have some lovely Sicilian food and this place was fantastic.
