Trattoria Vecchi Sapori — Restaurant in Castellamonte

This was a lucky find, and we could not stop talking about how good the food and service was. And, it was fantastic value for money. It was the best meal we had during our Italian holiday.

In my poor Italian I asked if we could have a table and we were welcomed in. While choosing, we were offered a lovely antipasto selection and we were recommended a bottle of Barbera d'Asti. Our pasta dishes arrived and they were fantastic. I also ordered a meat dish followed by a Panna cotta. So I had 4 courses, my partner had two and we shared a lovely bottle of wine for 57euros

It was quiet when we dined there which is why it lost 1 star...

Trattoria Vecchi Sapori is a little restaurant in the land of Castellamonte. Although is a bit far from the big cities, it is still a perfect spot to have lunch after a ride with you motorbike. The restaurant is comfy and represents a classic “Italian Trattoria” where you eat local specialties at an affordable price. Ho avuto il piacere di cenare alla Trattoria Vecchi Sapori , Dino ottimo cuoco , devo dire che l'esperienza è stata davvero piacevole. L'ambiente è tipico e accogliente, perfetto per trascorrere una serata in compagnia. La cucina è familiare e autentica, con piatti caserecci preparati con cura e passione. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e soddisfacenti, assicurandoti di non rimanere affamato. Ma devo ammettere che i dolci sono stati la vera sorpresa! Sono davvero buonissimi e fatti in casa, un vero piacere per il palato. Il servizio è stato attento e veloce, il personale si è dimostrato cortese e disponibile durante tutta la cena.
