They say if you build it they will come… They were right!! Everybody eats here… We stopped in for a very late lunch and of course like most places in Italy, they close at 2:00 and as it was 2:25 I figured no harm in asking.. When we walked in there were at least 35 to 40 people (big family groups) still sitting and eating. Not only did they seat us, they served us a wonderful pizza (one of the best I’ve ever had) and didn’t rush us at all.. We ate our lunch, had some wine and left thinking that we found a secret hangout… We went back two nights later to try dinner and it was a total zoo!!! A literal “TOUR” bus pulled up out front as we were walking in, and yes they sat and feed everyone without any problems.. And they all sat inside but they also have a patio that will accommodate a least 100 people... As for the food and staff, the pasta we had for dinner was simply wonderful and they have a super wine selection especially for such a small place.. All I can say is that I would defiantly recommend this to everyone (but apparently most already know) and again like a lot of places in Italy, don’t let the outside sway you away because you will miss out on a truly great homemade meal. I will be back to this true family...
Read moreWe came a larger group, which made the servers very hostile towards us from the beginning (we had called beforehand). I Ordered a t-bone steak blue rare, but it came closer to well done, than medium. I decided not to complain, since the servers showed to be extremely rude while ordering and bringing our food. While ordering some beers, one server just turned har back on us, walked away and slammed the door. No beer came. When they brought us the food, they said the wrong name for several pizzas, so we had to get a menu card to show the servers what the pizza is actually called. When bringing the steaks, they just announced which kind of steak, not the rarity, even tho we ordered 4 of the same steak different varieties. That said, one of the servers were really nice every time, and another was kind, but confused. The 2 other servers should not work in the service industry. I guess corona was hard on business, since I was here 4 years ago, and had the best...
Read moreA disappointment. We went to this restaurant because of its high rating, but they couldn't meet our expectations. List below tells you why:
Cons: Meat was undercooked, just red. The menu listed an Angus burger and we expected a tower burger with some salad, you know. The bread served as an aperitif was tasteless and our first serving of it contained a hair and there was taken a bite out of a piece. They fixed it with a new basket, but still tasteless and no olive oil was served with it, to put some taste on it. The burger was served with red cabbage, but it was wet and burned. English was Italian bad. The water tasted really off and bad.
Pros: It's a cosy place to eat and you're not alone. I think because of the hotel next to...
