Pizzeria La Morina — Restaurant in Castelnuovo Berardenga

The food was very good.

However, the service and inside seating were very bad when we went. The waitress told us there were only seats inside while there were open tables outside that weren’t filled the rest of the evening.

We agreed to sit inside, she told us to get a seat, waited about 15-20 minutes before we first saw her again to hand us the menu and she wanted to walk away immediately. We then quickly ordered and had to wait another hour to get our food. Inside it was hot and humid, no communication as to when the food would be ready.

There were other unhappy customers waiting. Let’s hope this was a one time thing, the food was great when it did come. I think the atmosphere outside is great too, just inside the restaurant its...

Wandered into town, asked for a good place to eat from the locals and was directed to this little restaurant. It appeared barren, but we decided not to judge a book by its cover. There was a little language barrier, but we got thru it and had the absolute best pizza I've had in decades! Don't let the appearance and cool welcome fool you. (Some people are just introverts)... this place is the real deal. Go for the food......

Went here because everywhere else in the village was booked. This turned out to a great thing! Pizza and calzone were excellent and also the large bottles of beer to wash it all down. Added bonus of the little piazza to chill out in while you finish your meal will bring a smile of your face....
