Piscine Onda Blu Pizzeria — Restaurant in Castelnuovo Scrivia

If piscina di Castelnuovo and this place are the same, here’s my review of what happened to us here. We’ll never come back, absolutely rubbish:

We hired this place for a graduation party, and they did everything they could for ruining the evening.

We arranged a fixed menu for the guests: Pizza tasting, french fries, focaccia with salumi as starters, ravioli al brasato and trofie al pesto for main courses, coffee and Prosecco for accompanying the cake, with unlimited beverages (only wine, beer, water and Pepsi).

They never brought the pizzas; served orecchiette instead of ravioli, and the trofie al pesto (specially chosen for our vegetarian guests) was changed for trofie with fish sauce, without asking us if we agreed with the changes. We realised that they started charging the guests for the beer and wine they were ordering, so when we asked about what was happening, Mario (which I assume he’s one of the owners) started screaming to my mum in the middle of the salon, in front of all the guests.

The coffee? We had finished the cake and we were still waiting for them to take the order; we had to ask them to bring it because they were playing fools. The Prosecco was non-existent.

Unfortunately, this probably happened to us because they were trying to take advantage of the fact that Italian is not our native language, so they were likely expecting for us to not understand what was happening nor be able to claim what we agreed on beforehand.

When the moment of paying arrived, they wanted to charge us for 60 people when we were, in fact, 42 adults and 2 children.

I can’t stress enough how badly I DON’T recommend this place. They had the opportunity to gain 42 new guests and leave the best of memories for a woman in her graduation night, but they chose otherwise, and that for me speaks very loudly about the kind of...

Purtroppo ci sono stata solamente due volte (la prima circa 3 mesi fa e ieri l'ultima) ed in entrambe le serate ho aspettato per accomodarmi al tavolo (prenotato dove mancava anche un coperto), sono arrivata alle 21 e le ordinazioni per il bere sono venuti a prenderle 40 minuti dopo.. il bere purtroppo è arrivato dopo altri 20/30 minuti.. e nel frattempo la birra in bottiglia che avevo scelto è stata lasciata davanti a me chiusa e senza bicchiere mentre le acque e le altre birre non pervenute.. diventata calda appena hanno portato il bere di tutto il tavolo ho chiesto di farmene portare un'altra ma fresca. Lo hanno fatto ed ho apprezzato. Poi abbiamo proseguito con le ordinazioni per le pizze e le pizze sono arrivate alle 22:30/22:40... Una pizza è arrivata fra l'altro con ingredienti sbagliati e non è stata mangiata.. i dolci praticamente sono stati ordinati verso le 23/23:30. si vede che lo staff ha voglia di fare e di lavorare ma purtroppo quando manca l'organizzazione e l'esperienza dello staff purtroppo è difficile lavorare al meglio. Spero che per questo nuovo locale ci sia una migliore organizzazione una volta fatta un po' più di esperienza. molto movimentato invece il bancone del bar con i cocktail, si vedeva che erano sempre indaffarati e presi dal lavoro. Faccio un incoraggiamento allo staff. Non mollate ma migliorate con l'organizzazione.... Un in...

Do' una sola stella perché non ne posso dare meno !! Dopo aver prenotato una settimana prima ed essere arrivati con largo anticipo, le prime pizze sono arrivati dopo due ore!! Colpa mia perché mi sono ostinato a prenotare dopo aver avuto precedentemente la stessa esperienza. Peccato per la location, ma questa sera questo locale ha perso 40 clienti che difficilmente...
