La Trattoria di Malco Claudio next to the Castello dei Clavesana which is a Scenic castle in the low mountains near Finale Ligure. Probably best to call ahead and order as there is just the owner and sometimes his daughter I think, so service is slow. The location is fantastic and we just ordered the menu which was salami, fresh goat cheese, pasta, and water and coke. Food was good but ran 20 euros a head which I thought was expensive for...

Un qui pro quo? Volevamo bere un caffè e, entrando dall'area ristorante, sentiamo una voce femminile tuonare "Io servo solo quelli prenotati!" al che, mi azzardo a dire "Noi non abbiamo prenotato, ma potremmo lo stesso avere due caffè?" Una signora di mezza età arriva sull'uscio della cucina con uno strofinaccio in mano e ci dice "Andate al bar che ora arriva mio marito." Il tono non era più quello arrabbiato di prima, ma lo stesso la sua risposta sembrava una minaccia. Col terrore anche di graffiare le mattonelle del pavimento e attenti a non consumare troppa aria del locale, calmi calmi e zitti zitti ci accomodiamo al bar. Circa mezzo minuto dopo arriva una bellissima donna forse sui quarant'anni a farci i caffè. Ma siamo sicuri che era un maschio? Io non me ne intendo di certe cose, ma mi sembrava una donna al cento per cento. Va bene, tutto questo non è importante, ma il caffè era veramente buono, il posto era carino. La signora è rimasta nel locale vuoto ad assisterci (controllarci?) per tutto il tempo e ci ha fatto pagare solo 1 euro a caffè con scontrino esent-iva. E questo il 10.09.2025, NON il 10.09.2010!
