Gastronomia Agricola Pavone — Restaurant in Castiglione della Pescaia

Really nice location, very nice staff - everyone was very friendly and attentive! The food was amazing, it is all regional and the portions are good. The prices are very good, for the quality of the food. The concept of having affordable but high quality "fast food" = "fast good" is great! You get all the tasty food, but you have to get your food at the counter, which we didn't mind at all, in fact you can look at all the homemade food which you can buy there as well, while you get your order. The food is served in paper bowls, which is not for everyone but we didn't mind at all, because the food tastes the same if it were on a platter! Drinks are served and you don't have to put away the dishes yourself, the staff will get them when you finished eating. We spent a week in Tuscany - Vetulonia, and this was definitely the best food-based experience we had in this time!

We ate the Tagliere Tuscano, the Bruschetta al pomodoro and the Pici with Ragú Maremmano, which we would all recommend - very tasty!

Il mio primo Cenone di Capodanno in un agriturismo è stato proprio una bella esperienza grazie alla professionalità di questi ragazzi, l'ambiente accogliente e soprattutto alla qualità dei piatti e delle materie prime. Un menù originale ben eseguito con ingredienti locali. Mi I carciofi (del campo adiacente) fritti su fonduta di pecorino toscano sono stati fantastici , come anche i cappellacci di ricotta ed erbette. Anche il resto buonissimo, con porzioni generose. Da segnalare anche l'eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo, un menù così a 50euro! Direi che per questi prezzi è giusto approcciarsi a questa gastronomia senza le aspettative di un ristorante... per poi meravigliarsi che le supera ampiamente! Peccato che abitiamo a 4 ore da Castiglione della Pescaia, se no ci andrei tutte le settimane. AGGIORNAMENTO 18 agosto 2024 Dopo mesi ritorno a Castiglione della Pescaia e non poteva mancare una "riverifica", visto che ero rimasto così colpito a Capodanno da scriverne la prima recensione. Ravioli fatti in casa con ragù maremmano: tanti, grandi, buoni da volare via. Spiedini di cinghiale: ottimi e dal gusto sorprendente. Prezzo molto conveniente da gastronomia (e non da ristorante, visto che non lo è), molto apprezzata l'opportunità di poter consumare sul posto (bello e comodo) Insomma, estate o inverno, Capodanno o Ferragosto i miei percorsi lato Tirreno prevederanno ancora...
