We have had dinner here many times and food and service very high quality. This year there is a new chef and our two meals since he joined have been excellent. Since writing the above statement we returned on 13th September 2022 and the restuarant still had the same chef, but almost all of the other staff were new. The chef had completely changed the menu with two tasting menus, one focused on seafood. If you did not want a full tasting menu you could choose items from either menu to make a 3 or 4 course meal. Great food, awesome location with service to be revisited and massively improved. The service is quite below the average of a Michelin star. We paid a full bottle of wine which the sommelier did not refill the wine because he took out the bootle from the table. I never meet a sommelier drinking the wine with clients (tasting ok, drinking from a glass horror). They charged 1 bottle of water which was not used because a spy was in the glass and they took the water out. They were asking feedback on food not accepting any suggestions. Très bonne adresse gastronomique. Elle mérite parfaitement son étoile au guide Michelin. la cuisine est étonnante et créative avec une utilisation exclusive de produits locaux et des recettes Toscanes revisitées à merveille.
Il vous faudra affronter un dernier kilomètre de piste gravillonneuse et poussiéreuse (qui vous obligera un petit passage au lavomatique pour votre voiture 😋) avant d'arriver dans cette endroit merveilleux culinaire mais cela vaut largement le détour.
Nous avons opté pour le menu gastronomique "100% Brace" composé de 7 services/7 passaggi... je vous le conseille si vous voulez que le chef vous fasse voyager avec brio dans l'art culinaire Toscan à travers un balai de mets succulents plus les uns que les autres.
La carte des vins est assez courte mais suffisantes pour accompagner à merveille les plats. l'ensemble de la carte des vins est aussi proposé au verre ce qui est appréciable quand on est en couple uniquement ou que l'on doit conduire ensuite.
Notre fille a pour sa part opté pour un plat à la carte (raviolis homard)... un peu juste en quantité à son goût d'adolescente 😉... mais avec grande gentillesse du chef et de l'équipe, elle a été servie à nouveau pour combler son estomac en pleine croissance 😉. Elle a fini pour le dessert par un soufflet citron à priori divin.
Un accueil parfait et un service tout au long du dîner très professionnel et attentionné. Les plats sont tous présentés de façon très détaillée vous donnant rien qu'à leurs annonces déjà l'eau à la bouche et les papilles en éveil.
Nous avons donc passé une agréable soirée dans un très beau cadre de surcroît.
Il est enfin à noter que notre chien "un cocker spaniel " a été lui aussi très bien accueilli et à même eu le droit à sa gamelle d'eau fraîche... pour nous accompagner lors...
