Ristorante La Terrazza degli Etruschi — Restaurant in Castiglione della Pescaia

We visited the restaurant in 2021 and 2022 and were thrilled with the quality of the service, drinks and food. The place was always packed with local guests as well as tourists. The atmosphere was friendly and vibrant.

All this has changed !! We had reserved a table for six adults on 23.05.2023. the menu has changed completely. The service is done by a male person who is unable or unwilling to assist with the menu. The food that in previous years was nicely arranged on plates and shingles looks plain and this how it tasted. No house wine is available per glass , only bottles. It truly was a lousy dinner experience. We could have eaten better food for half the price just 200m down the road.

No surprise that only three tables were occupied.

We will only return if a new chef and management...

Really wonderful experience. We found this restaurant after visiting the incredible Etruscan museum. The view was absolutely breathtaking. Kasia, the lady who served us was absolutely great. She answered all of our questions about the food that was prepared and served with such beauty. The restaurant is beautifully designed, wonderfully clean and very special. When we thanked the chef for such amazing food he said 'I cook with my heart, not with my hands' and that's exactly what we sensed. Spaghetti with porcini and saffron!!!! No words for how good it was. Definitely...

Ho appena festeggiato i miei 49 anni con mia figlia Sofia in modo indimenticabile presso La Terrazza degli Etruschi, e non posso fare a meno di condividere la mia esperienza straordinaria! Nonostante fossimo in ritardo e tutto fosse improvvisato, siamo stati accolti con calore dalla sig.ra Cascia, che ha subito saputo farci sentire a casa.

I primi piatti al ragù di cinta senese erano semplicemente deliziosi, una vera esplosione di sapori, perfettamente abbinati a un calice di vino rosso Chianti superiore che ha esaltato ogni boccone. E per finire, i dolcetti fatti in casa sono stati la ciliegina sulla torta di un pranzo già perfetto.

La terrazza panoramica offre una vista mozzafiato che rende questo posto ancora più magico, e la disponibilità della terrazza per noi, nonostante il nostro ritardo, è stata davvero apprezzata.

Consiglio vivamente La Terrazza degli Etruschi per la sua gentilezza, accoglienza e, soprattutto, per l'ottimo cibo. Un'esperienza da non perdere! Grazie di cuore per aver reso il mio compleanno...
