A Culinary Gem Worth the Journey!
An unparalleled dining experience that was well worth the two-hour drive from Catania! My friend and I visited this restaurant for lunch and were treated to an incredible tasting journey—no menu, just ten exquisitely prepared dishes served at the perfect pace.
From the moment the first dish arrived, every bite was a delight. We enjoyed Nebrodi pork prosciutto and ham, fresh tomato bruschetta, crispy broccoli fritters, dried cod with vegetables in tomato sauce, homemade pickles, fried potato and cheese balls, cauliflower in rich tomato sauce, delicately sweet meatballs, pasta in Sicilian sauce, and a traditional Sicilian dessert. Each dish was served in just the right portion for the two of us, allowing us to savor every flavor without feeling overwhelmed.
To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a few glasses of wine and were absolutely astonished when we saw the bill—less than €50 per person for such a high-quality experience!
One of the standout moments was tasting Nebrodi pork for the first time—its rich, slightly sweet fat simply melts in your mouth, creating a truly unforgettable flavor. If you’ve never tried it before, this is the place to do it.

Our first stop was for a divine platter to share, perfectly complemented by a glass of local wine. The flavors were bold and authentic — a true celebration of Sicilian ingredients. On our second visit, we explored their pasta dishes, each one a masterpiece in its own right, crafted with care and rich in tradition.
The warm hospitality we received from Cinzia made the experience even more memorable. She welcomed us like old friends and made sure every detail was just right.

There’s no printed menu – everything is based on what’s fresh and in season. We were offered a generous selection of antipasti, two types of pasta (primi), and a main course (secondo), all prepared with locally sourced ingredients.
The antipasti alone were fantastic – flavorful, varied, and honestly enough for a full meal. But everything was so delicious we couldn’t resist continuing and went for the pasta which were also excellent.
If you’re in the area this...
