A gorgeous little gem in Castiglione. Sat outside in 30 d early evening in small, atmospheric terrace. Lovely friendly staff , despite our lack of Italian . Extremely reasonable prices on menu , boys all had fab thin pizzas with various toppings Only 8 euros each and delicious . House anti pasta and crostini also fab value and delicious . I had a delicious simple primi platti of taglioni with ham and rocket , perfect . House wine 1/2 L 6 euros and perfectly ok and a carafe of coco cola 9 euros . Read moreA hidden gem which is off the beaten path. We stumbled upon this restaurant on our trip from Tuscany to Rome when we randomly decided to stop for lunch at an exit off the A1. It is in the small historic hilltop town of Castiglione, where few people speak English from our experience. The two gentlemen who run the establishment are absolutely wonderful people who made every attempt to bridge our language barrier and provide us with a great Italian dining experience.
