It's simply a must visit for everyone who wants to experience the real Sicilian food. The moment I stepped inside I felt like in a dream. The real Sicilian dream. Probably the most "family" like restaurant I ever been at. For 10€ you got 4 course menu with drinks included. The food is like something you would get from a Sicilian mom. The authenticity of the place is just mind-blowing. The menu is different everyday, you can only choose if you want meat or fish. For me this is plus because you are forced to try new things and at the same time you know the food is gonna be as fresh as possible. The service was excellent, they knew little English so no problem with that. They were really fast with everything and asked you throughout the meals how you liked it. You really feel appreciated there.

Not a restaurant more a canteen type bar and dining area Serving local homemade food to the locals There's no menu just what they cook each day Meals are 10 euros each We had a plate of antipasti and a Soup a Pasta alla Norma and 3 mains with a small carafe of the house wine from a big vat and waters The soup was a tasty lentils and vegs We had Rabbit stew Grilled squid and Anchovies Breaded escalope of veal All delicious Friendly family serving the server spoke good English The place is packed with local workers Good atmosphere Limited streetside parking in a very local area off Via della Concordia Budget Traditional and Fun

Not saying the streets there were super safe as a young woman walking alone, daylight, and had to think twice to go in because of the crowd in front of the restaurant. Best decision. In the heart of the true Catania, only locals, loud Sicilians. Had an appetizer, pasta, fresh fish and a big piece of bread for 10 euros. They do that every single day with different meals. Left with a full stomach and a great experience. Probably best to go there if you know basic Italian. People were actually super sweet, didn't book anything, they just make you sit wherever there's a free seat. If you want to get out of the touristy area and restaurants, this is your place!

when you visit a place you want to feel the soul of the local tastes . especially as a tourist . it is the definition of excellence ! crazy nice tastes ! very local dishes ! very polite and friendly people run the restaurant ! it is more than a must place to visit when you are in Sicily or when you pass from Catania to visit another place . i always try to follow local traditional tastes. that was one of the most original places i have ever been to in Italy.

Amazing place with even more extraordinary staff inside. If you want to try local food for amazing price, go out extremely full and happy, that’s best place to do it. We paid 25€ for antipasti mix, first & second course for 2 people, we got also half liter of white wine and a water. The restaurant is opened really short each day and it’s full of local people inside all the time. If you want to feel the climate of Sicily, I fully recommend this place.

A great restaurant with local Sicilian-Catanian style food prepared by great family just directly after order (family restaurant). For 10 euros you will have 3 positions so you can try different dishes. Every day new menu. Great and dynamous Sicilian atmosfere so you can feel this by your own. Not so far from airport so highly recommenf to visit 😊👌🍝be careful short working hours because it's mainly dedicated for local people (lunch).
