Hotel is in the old castle owned by a family. The rooms are well equiped with comfortable beds, but there was a lot of dust on the floor, so could be cleaner. A lot of place to leave your belongings. The comunication in english is not possible, noone understood us and that resulted in a lot of unpleasant situations. For the breakfast you have a choice between an italian (10€) or american (15€) breakfast. Since the price is not very low, you would expect a bigger portions. We were a group of 3 and we received a plate with one yoghurt, 4 slices of bread, a bit of honey and jam and some sweets. We found out that that was meant to be for 3 people. They lock the building at 11 PM, and unlock it at 7 AM, so if you want to go out, you find yourself locked inside with alarm armed, so you can not open the doors. Not the best experience. Read moreMy wife and me got to this hotel as a part of our trip to northern Italy.||The property is located beside an old castle (tours can be arranged, ask in advance to make sure the guide will speak English). ||The hotel is new, the rooms are elegant, the showers are big and shiny, feeling kind of you're at the 17th century, but with style!||If you come to stay here don't pass a dinner at the hotel's restaurant, managed by the chef and the hotel manager. Great Italian food, with a changing menu, every month or so. ||The chef will also make you a fine breakfest, maybe the finest i had in Itay, usually included.||In the area I would recomend to visit the the old city of Bergamo, Beautiful structures greatly preserved, with lovely little shops.
