Myself and my boyfriend stayed here in May 2014 for a short few nights. To start off, the rooms were absolutely beautiful, clean and with wood accents and beautiful bold framing. The dining room had pictures that chronicled the history of the farm and the people that have lived there. The lady that hosted our stay (Erica, I believe) was a gorgeous vibrant lady ! She was taking care of two young children that stayed at the farm during the day, Feliche and Marta, who were gems! She cooked for us as per our room and board arrangement, had breakfast laid out for us each morning in a beautiful spread even though we were the only two guests!! She also drove us to see some historical sights of the area, including the eleatic school at Velia. Here she arranged a tour for us with French and Italian speaking guides who were fun and great and spoke some english aswell. With Erika, we alternated through some French, English, Italian and general linguistic play to understand eachother! It created a few endearing moments and memories. ||Something I still cherish is the "miele amaro" type honey she served us at breakfast. We went up the road to see the apiary that produced the honey, as well as their homestead farm and bakery operation! We tried honey bread and got beeswax candles. We brought some jars of it home and have shared it with our family as gifts. She also sent us home with a bottle of limoncello made there! Her cooking and preserves were inspiring. ||It has truly taken me these last few months to digest the beautiful things I experienced while at this farm, too many to list here. Our reason for coming here, partially, was because in Canada we have been working on organic farms, learning and looking to see how we will start our own agriturismo. This has inspired us to create the same history and legacy in our own business. I would love to come back here! I wish the family and everyone involved with Il Piano della Corte all the best health and love and THANKYOU for such an experience in your olive wonderland !!||Jaylin and Brett from...

Read moreThe best part of our trip to Italy!
we are a couple with two little girls (1 and 4yo). We travelled by car through the south of Italy this last december.
After a very busy time in Napoli, we decided to spend 3 days in a farm in the mountains of the Cilento National Park (its less touristic and less explored than the amalfi coast, but really beautiful too).
Elena was more than the perfect host, she was our family during those days. There are no words to describe how at home, how at ease we felt in the farm. We even cancelled a last day in Rome just to stay longer there.
The decoration is tasty and classy, without excess. Like the ideal farm. The rooms are impecable. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, sparkling clean, the beds are awesome, the matress is a dream in itself. The living room has a VERY COSY fireplace. They have animals - our kids loved - and games to play inside. As it was very cold, we stayed a lot in the living room playing Kapla.
The food is a chapter in itself. Elena is now my favorite chef. With such simplicity she makes the best pasta, the best antipasti, the best parmiggiana, the best ragu and the most incredibly amazing tiramisu I have ever had. I didn't get hungry during those days, I just kept eating the whole time, it was amazing.
The farm produces olive oil. They were pressing it while we were there, so I decided to take a bottle home as a souvenir. Turned out to be a fantastic reminder of how we have to go back soon.
Next time I'm gonna do the full...
