Ristorante Pizzeria En Tu Furnu — Restaurant in Ceriana

After a delightful vacation in Ceriana me and my friends decided to have our final meal at Ristorante En Tu Furnu. This resulted in a massive disappointment because of 3 major reasons and because of the way the restaurant dealt with our complaints.

The shrimp on the pizza victoria of two of our friends was spoiled. The shrimp tasted and smelled fishy. It was not how shrimp is supposed to taste and smell. One of our friends got sick and had to throw up before we even left the restaurant. When we mentioned this to the staff they belittled him and made a vague threat about crushing my skull like one of the shrimps on the plate. The dough inside of the pizza’s, especially the pizza calzone was not cooked well. The dough was still raw on the inside. The staff did not take this complaint serious and ignored it. We dined in the room upstairs inside of the restaurant. During our meal the room completely filled with smoke from the kitchen which made some of our group teary eyed and negatively impacted our dining experience overall. Once again the staff gave a weak excuse and was not helpful at all. When we lodged our complaints and made clear that we would not pay full price for this disappointing food and the unfriendly service, the staff became angry and would not listen to our arguments. Eventually they took 15 euro’s off of our 165 euro bill, which definitely did not properly compensate for the raw pizza, food sickness and all in all disappointing final meal we’ve had in the beautiful town of Ceriana, a town where we did not have any problems up until this evening. When we left after paying the cook came out and insulted us via google translate.

All in all this was the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in Ceriana and I would definitely not recommend dining here. The other restaurants offer better food...

We went to this restaurant with our whole friend group and we sadly had an awful experience. The pizza dough was not fully cooked, there was something up with the shrimp and at one point the restaurant filled up with smoke. Upon voicing our findings and looking for a solution on the bill, we were rudely treated, belittled and vaguely threatened. A stark contrast with the excellent food and service from the restaurant across the street.

A disappointing end of our beautiful and enjoyable vacation in the town of Ceriana.

My family and I are from America and we have a house in Ceriana. My parents accompanied us and we all dined at Entufurnu. It was their anniversary and we all had one of the most special nights we have ever had together. The food was absolutely superb, the owner and chef Matteo and server Caterina (I believe) were so kind, the prices are simply amzing considering how the impressive the dining.
