Ristoro Alpino Vetta Bisbino — Restaurant in Cernobbio

After walking 10km and finding this place by surprise being super hopeful that we could get a warm dish for lunch (we had snacks and preparations for our hike obviously we were just excited for the chance of a full meal) we were denied a seat even though half of the restaurant was empty at 1pm. On top of this rejection for some food the person who talked to us was extremely rude for no reason about him not having enough food for us, not even a slice of bread, when there is clearly road access to this place and the possibility to be prepared to have extra guests that didn’t make a reservation. So either prepare for this before you come or avoid it all costs. So disappointing service like this can exist...

We were incredibly disappointed with our recent lunch experience at Ristoro Alpino Vetta Bisbino. While the setting is picturesque, the food and service were far below our expectations.

The antipasti di salumi e formaggio were meager portions, and the quality of the meats and cheeses was underwhelming. The desserts, though presented nicely, lacked flavor and originality.

To top it off, the price of 75 euros for three people seemed excessive, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. We won't...

Come spesso accade, le cose organizzate all'ultimo momento sono le piu' riuscite...! Infatti con altri 6 amici, poco prima di Natale, siamo riusciti a trovare un tavolo disponibile al Ristorante Vetta Bisbino per festeggiare insieme il capodanno... Tutto è stato perfetto: l'accoglienza e la gentilezza dei proprietari e dei ragazzi che servivano (non appena prendevi l'ultimo pezzo di pane dal cestino ad esempio, erano già pronti con quello pieno, ed anche tutto il servizio è stato efficiente e preciso); il cibo di ottima qualità, dai taglieri di salumi e formaggi freschissimi e di tantissime varietà, nervetti e insalata russa freschi fatti in casa, al bis di primi (buonissimi gli gnocchi alle ortiche!!!), la polenta, il bis di carne, ecc... la fantastica idea di "fare una pausa" tra le portate, organizzando una semplice tombola con premi, che ha fatto divertire tutti; il vin brulé, lo spumante, il panettone ed il pandoro offerti all'esterno, poco prima e dopo la mezzanotte, ad oltranza e senza restrizioni; i tradizionali cotechino e lenticchie sul finale e poi il caffè; Il tutto a € 55, compreso di bevande! Chi ha scritto un commento totalmente negativo probabilmente non è stato nello stesso posto dove siamo stati noi o, mi viene da pensare facendo un po’ di ironia, sia un “rivale” di qualche altro ristorante, il quale posta gratuitamente cattivi e falsi commenti per screditarli...
