Hands-down the best restaurant in Tuscany!

We drove all the way from Pomarance—about an hour’s journey—and it was absolutely worth it. The food was outstanding: fresh, homemade pasta, traditional Tuscan dishes full of authentic flavor, and everything cooked with passion and care. The house wine from a nearby vineyard was a real delight and paired perfectly with the meal.

The staff were unbelievably warm and welcoming. The owner was genuinely happy to see us returning after our first visit three years ago, which made the evening feel even more special.

The atmosphere is charming and authentically Tuscan, the prices are more than fair for the quality, and the whole experience is simply unforgettable.

The food is high class, service great, location is out of this world. We ate in a beautifully built conservatory. I would give more stars but my gripe is with other reviews more than the restaurant. When I googled (gluten free restaurants) in Chianni this is shown as no1. Out of 10. They make fresh pasta for all dishes but no gluten free, at all. My wife cannot tolerate garlic & everything has garlic in it. They offer 5 starters 5 mains & 5 desserts. She could only have a starter. This is not a whinge but a medical necessity. There are other restaurants which properly cater for gluten free, Google please take no1 status for gluten free away. It is misleading. I was looking back on my Euro trip and I HAD to leave this place a review. We went to 5 countries and countless cities and this dining experience was by far the best. Every dish was out of this world incredible and the owner severed us personally! He came to our table and talked to us for hours well after closing time. We ordered an insane amount of food. Im not big on pasta but his handmade fresh pasta was literally life changing.
