Pizzeria Teverone — Restaurant in Chies d'Alpago

We had reserved a table and when we arrived, we were told to sit "somewhere over there", but nobody led us there, they just pointed at an approximate area. After 20 minutes, someone came "to take our order", but nobody had even brought us a menu yet. 10 minutes later, after getting the menu, we could finally order. When we got the pizza, we did not get cutlery with it, neither knife nor fork and the napkins we had were used from the previous guest. We were ignored for lengthy periods of time, the locals were quickly attended to, the behaviour towards us was xenophobic, and in the end we got sarcastic and condescending comments for not tipping. We paid 3 Euros for the table cover. What service? The soiled napkin or lack of cutlery? It is basic, standard hygiene to clean off the table in between guests, and provide new cutlery, napkins, and a menu to the next guest. They seem to really hate German-speaking foreigners. Shame, as the pizza itself was apparently made by a grandma-type cook and the food was not bad. But the service and...

As far as pizzerias go, this is a winner. Nothing else on the menu apart from a few appetizers but with the pizzas (all under 10 euros) so well made, you do not really need much. Thin and crunchy crust, good toppings. House wine and beer also good. The service is a bit grumpy, but I guess that's a part of the deal. That you can find such a place in such a small town just goes to show how strong...

Ordinato tre pizze da asporto, arrivo al locale, chiedo gentilmente informazioni riguardo l'asporto. Mi viene risposto di aspettare, poi la signora fa per prendere la comanda, le faccio presente che ho ordinato per telefono, la risposta: "aspetta", poi borbotta con un altro cliente che non è possibile pretendere il cibo appena arrivati. Faccio presente che non ho preteso niente altro che informazioni. 1/2 ora di ritardo per avere le pizze, in cassa mi riepiloga le tre pizze, pago e uscendo controllo lo scontrino, in conto quattro pizze, rientro e lei mi fa saltare la fila per controllare lo scontrino, mi dà la differenza commentando che le sembrava un po' salato il conto, a casa scopriamo che due pizze su tre non erano quelle ordinate. Peccato perché la pizza è buona, ma mai più pizzeria il teverone, meglio la pizzeria ristorante Dolomiti località La Secca, ottime pizze, ottimo ristorante personale gentile e posto...
