Pizzeria MeGusta — Restaurant in Chioggia

This is My first time writing a review but I found it important to tell you guys about this incident, which happened today. We wanted to eat at this restaurant because of its good rating. We told them that we were two people and to that a waiter said that there was a table free for us. Just as we wanted to sit there an old lady, who also works there, appeared and talked with the man in italian. We couldn’t understand her words but she looked at my mom multiple times, who is wearing a scarf for religious reasons, and later on the waiter said that we can’t sit there and that we had to leave without further explanation. It is a shame that there are still situations like this happening in this time of period. Where just because of a religion people cannot eat and sit in peace at a restaurant. What a shame. I won’t recommend this restaurant at all, because as we can see it is not welcoming all people and they judge them by their appearance. What a sad and truly shameful situation. Not so...

Mangiare una pizza con pasta tirata alla romana, ossia con impasto fino, croccante ai bordi e morbido nella parte con ripieno, senza mai risultare pesante o diventare gommosa al perdere della temperatura, senza imperfezioni di cottura, nemmeno nella parte centrale della pizza ( e che pizza, le immagini parleranno x me).... impasto povero come la tradizione ci avrebbe insegnato e tramandato, senza mix di farine strane o aliene, che le varie e osannate trasmissioni TV che parlano di cucina, spesso tendono a pubblicizzare... Ho messo una stella in meno solo x l'ambiente, che risulta bello, curato e pulito, e con un ottimo servizio, ma un po' limitato dallo stabile e dalla realtà in cui è sorto e prospera, per me non rispecchia pienamente la qualità e la bontà di ciò che viene preparato e servito. Nulla di meglio di può sperare o ricercare in un impasto, fine, ben tirato, con ingredienti ricercati e di ottima qualità, e vi posso garantire girando anche 6 regioni al giorno, che non usano ingredienti convenzionali e comuni, alcuni so bene dove li ho potuti assaporare di persona, parliamo di altre città o regioni, non certo dal classico fornitore di zona, per quanto buoni possa avere i prodotti da proporre, non voglio certo sminuire nessuno.... L'antica tradizione rodigina del titolare, e 30 anni di esperienza e di lavoro, rendono questa pizzeria un faro in un mare in tempesta, raro da avvistare ma assolutamente consigliato da raggiungere, se venite in zona a Sottomarina o Chioggia. Le foto che aggiungo parleranno da sole, io per scelta e gusti ho optato x "Il cappello del prete", una pizza particolare da mangiare almeno in 2, ma ha un listino che per la particolarità dei vari formati proposti, che esulano dalle solite "convenzionali" pizze rotonde, e dalla particolarità di ingredienti e gusti, lascia davvero con l'imbarazzo della scelta, ma comunque essa sia, vi lascerà veramente soddisfatti, e vi indurrà a ritirnarci...buon...

I was chillin' on the beach with my lovely pregnant wife, when we decided that we had enuff sun for the morning and we want to try some pizza. Based on google and tripadvisor reviews, we decided to visit MeGusta. We had a loooong walk under the sun for like 20 minutes, we were starving, bit still, didn't want to go home which btw was far more closer than the restaurant. When we got there, at 13:45, we discovered a closed restaurant with a message saying that for august, it is opened only in evenings. Was it that hard to add this in your gMaps page? Very dissapointed, will not ever go there even if will...
