I came home after a long holiday in Italy. We had lots of fun and ate in many restaurants. But this restaurant was so special that I had to sit down after the 17 days vacation on Italy and write a review. The only review for this trip because they deserve it. This amazing restaurant was like a dream. First the hard climb up to Chiusdino was a thrill. Then we reached a completely empty village on our way from Firenze to Capranica. We looked for a restaurant that was open after 14:30, a mission impossible on its own, in Italy. We found this restaurant with a beautiful view. They were very busy and could hardly accept us. We ordered 5 different dishes and loved them all with passion. Especially the Lazania (Lasagne) and the meat pieces in a special sauce. The desserts and the white wine were also wonderful. The young owner/waitress was very nice, full of smiles even though she was working very hard. I highly...

Tutto molto...

First off, the location shown in Google Maps as of 10 July 22 is still incorrect.

The CORRECT address is: Via Umberto Primo 53012 Chiusdino (SI)

It is NOT located in the town of Montalcinello, it is located in the town of Chiusdino…

The proprietor Alicia was absolutely wonderful in making sure we found her restaurant after we’d mistakenly followed Google Maps and ended up in Montalcinello. Our Ravioli & Tortellini dishes were wonderful and they had the best Prosciutto this side of Parma - no kidding. The staff & folks in the kitchen couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating - especially as late as we were in arriving. Will definitely return & they have our highest...

Very much worth visiting. Reminder of the terrible effects of war and the folly of mankind. If there is to be a critical observation, then it is that not enough attention has been paid to to the effects of the WW2 on allied populations in Africa and India. Here besides providing soldiers, civilans died due to neglect, mismanagement and arrogance of the western commanders. Historians may forget but history doesn't. This lacuna should and will be covered. If not, then in the near or distant future the memorial and museum at Caen will become irrelevant.

We found this place while visiting for our niece’s wedding in the town over! We went the first night and fell in love! We ate there 3 times in 4 days! The Picci pasta and desserts are a must! By the 3rd visit we felt like old friends. The waitress also makes all the desserts! Don’t pass this place by. Grazie Mille
