i would give this place a 5 star if it was half the price. unfortunately it was a little too expensive for what it was. the owners and staff were wonderful, kind, and super attentive, however even by european standards, the kitchen doesn’t seem to prioritize in terms of timing and output. a dinner for two people with a split antipasto, and mains that had the same base (pesto) took almost 2 hours. the restaurant was full, with big parties, so i understand—and we were in no rush, but it just didn’t make too much sense why we were waiting so long.

So much Italian hospitality and passion poured in on us that the host was surprised when we asked for a secundi after the antipasti and primi. The sea bass was damn tasty so that one could eat it alone.
We got mandarins from our own garden on the way and also a homemade wine. All in all a perfect experience full of enjoyment without even suspecting what is next. In the end it only cost 100 € including water and wine.
