Ciccio's osteria — Restaurant in Cisterna di Latina

We had a reservation for 20:30, we arrived at 20:24 and we had to wait a few minutes so they could fix the table. I kid you not we shared an appetizer and a costata that was suppose to be 800 gr. and 2 sides. We were served and done with eating at 21:08 the antipasto was 3 pieces of prosciutto crudo, a tiny mozzarella and a small bruschetta. The meat was brought in immediately, it was all fat and a small piece of bone, we double checked with the waiter she said it was 800 gr. indeed. The meat was not great quality and it had no taste, the slices of meat were super tin and small. I would not be coming back here for sure, the quality of the food is not matching the prices and the amount. We were presented with a much limited menu than the one on their website, be aware they do not offer everything they advertise there which is deceiving. Normally they offer bread everywhere you go in Italy, HERE NOT! The girl was friendly but I hate to be rushed to eat, she came and took my husbands plate away while I was still finishing to eat, so rude! The food is over priced and not great quality in the end we paid 90€, I have paid much less than that foor food that tasted 1000 time better than this one. You can see the people that frequent this place are people with money, who do not care to pay for over priced food that is not even good quality....

Food let's say okej, till you didn't see the bill... There was no price for appetizers on the menu. My husband and I ordered 2 portions of amatriciana pasta, a bottle of water and a 1 portion of appetizer to taste (we weren't hungry). No price for the appetizer was given. Now a question to all... Since a portion of pasta cost 12.euro, how much can 1 portion of appetizer cost. At the checkout I had a heart attack.. 45 euros! If you add 24 euros for pasta and 2 euros for water, how much did the appetizer cost??? Such can tories and cheating of people will not be good for anyone... Good...

The best food experience I ever had!

I recommend everyone who wants to experience real delicious and delicate Italian food to go to Ciccio‘s osteria. We did not have to order, the owner was so kind and suggested that we should just trust him and he will serve us different dishes, every dish was always perfectly portioned and perfectly seasoned, I wish I could give more than 5 stars because also the price was unbelievably affordable compared to the food quality.
