Ristó il Grappolo — Restaurant in Cisternino

We had dinner twice here in this beautiful restaurant during our 3 days stay in Cisternino because the food was so delicious. It is a family owned restsurant and you see/feel their love and passion to their job and cooking. Everything is very fresh, from top quality and homemade. Not only the pasta they do by their own, but also smoking the salmon, creating the deserts & cookies and their honemade salumi. This taste is incredible, you really feel and see o big difference! It's amazing! We had the Polpetti and Spaghetti vongole which belong both to their signature dishes. But also the salmon tartare with Avocado, the salmon carpaccip as well as the Fish of the Day were outstanding! There is a nice terrasse in beautiful ambiente outside, inside you can have a direct look into the kitchen how they prepair your food. Service is also very friendly & professional. If you have any questions, need a recommendation (food or wine) or if you have other requirements, they do it with pleasure and a smile. Very high customer orientation. We stayed in the Essenza B&B which is close to the restaurant ll Grappolo, but we would also drive for a much longer time to enjoy such a excellent fresh food for an absolute reasonable & fair price. If you love fresh, regional & homemade food of high quality, authentic Italian style and appeeciate nice ambiente, you have to go there and eat!
