My favourite restaurant in the world ever! Where do I start; the ravioli is gorgeous, the Penne alla Norma fantastic and the beefsteak is the best I've ever had - and I've had it many times here. The quality is always good, no matter what you go for. The wine list is great but I'm always happy with the house wine or whatever the knowledgable owner recommends. This is a fabulous restaurant, we have eaten here many times during our extended stay in Citt Sant Angelo. The raviolis are all delicious, the ravioli with pistacchio is a favorite. The beef steak with balsamic reduction and arrosticini are also delicious, tender and flavorful. The house wines are excellent, both red and white. Giudicherei l'atmosfera di Hosteria Cavour deliziosa e casereccia. È arredata sia in modo tradizionale sia con gusto giovanile (anche qui ci sono, sparsi qua e la, vari oggetti d'antiquariato, come per esempio la macchina da scrivere dopo la cassa), pitturato con un accostamento tra verde scuro e bianco. Il personale è stato gentile e abbastanza accomodante, non c'è che dire. E ora veniamo al cibo: non dico che la qualità delle portate fosse bassa ma, il modo in cui sono state cucinate, non ci è piaciuto. Gli antipasti caldi e freddi di salumi e formaggi, serviti in piatti separati, sono tra le poche cose che ci sono piaciute, dico subito che i prosciutti erano freschi e le ricottine.... eccellenti. Il primo, invece, una Chitarra alla Teramana, non lo apprezzato un granché: era buono il sugo, ma il liquido in fondo al piatto me l'ha presentata "scialacquosa", ecco, troppo liquida, perplessità anche sulla mugnaia. Il secondo, invece, mi è piaciuto di più; buonissimo l' agnello e le salsicce ma, le patate al forno in un piattino piccolo..... Io e mio fratello abbiamo gradito tanto il tiramisù, cremoso e dolcissimo; do un 8 alla panna cotta ai frutti di bosco che ho assaggiato, freschissima.
