Le Ginestre — Restaurant in Civitaquana

The favourite Part of my second Journey through Italy was the completely unplanned and spontaneous Stop at le Ginestre. Fabio the owner was overwhelmingly nice and helpful! He gave us a complete travel Guide through Abruzzo and even let us stay overnight in his parking place while offering everything a Camper could imagine. The food was great, too I should add with More than fair prices (Bruschetta, Insalata, Verdure, Pizza, Panna Cotta) ;-). A real gem this place! Especially If you Like authentic places and people away from the Tourist crowds! PS: Ask him about his arrosticini! Grazie...

Stop searching! We happily drove for an hour to eat again with Roberto and his wife (who cooks fantastic!). No endless menus. They just ask what you want to eat. He proposes some things and everything is tasty. In my opinion, Ginestre has the best truffle lasagna or tagliatelle and meat dishes in all of Italy. And then the desserts... like being in heaven. Everything homemade and very tasty. The most delicious cake and chocolate or pistachio ice cream. The kids also enjoyed it. Please note the opening times. Reservations are convenient.

Stop met zoeken! Wij hebben met liefde een uur gereden om weer bij Roberto en zijn vrouw (die fantastisch kookt!) te komen eten. Geen eindeloze menukaarten. Men vraagt gewoon wat je wilt eten. Hij stelt wat dingen voor en alles is lekker. Ginestre heeft wat mij betreft de lekkerste truffellasagne-of tagliatelle en vleesgerechten van heel Italië. En dan de toetjes... alsof je in de hemel bent. Alles zelfgemaakt en geweldig lekker. De meest heerlijke cake en chocolade of pistache ijs. De kinderen hebben ook genoten. Let even op de openingstijden....

Ristorante situato nella comunità montana della provincia pescarese, caratterizzato da una location ampia e curata , adatta a cerimonie; peccato per la qualità del cibo perché era tutto congelato dove ad esempio la chitarra, e i ravioli a differenza dalle foto presentate dal ristorante, letteralmente nuotavano nel liquido, abbondante, del sugo con il tritato che era freddo, carni dure insipide con cottura sbagliata nei tempi, bruschette con pane vecchio. Servizio al tavolo con un aria seccata , svogliosa e poco cordiale. Mi domando che aprono a fare a pranzo se poi il servizio è scadente per la stanchezza? Non penso che in un ristorante cosi , con tante e alte recensioni si permettono di trattare cosi i clienti, perché la maggior parte vengono dalle grandi città quindi mi viene da pensare che quelle recensioni lasciano il tempo che trovano: la qualità di un ristorante deve essere costante e non derivare da un mucchio di recensioni figli del cenone del 31 dicembre o del ferragosto o di un paio di matrimoni all' anno. 80 euro per mangiare cosi è inaccettabile e sinceramente ve...
