Ristorante Il Fiaschetto1984 - Pizza Grill & Wine — Restaurant in Collazzone

The food was average for the location and price. You will find individual pizza in the 8 to 10 euro range, decor is modern with well dressed waitstaff. This could have been an above average experience but several incidents unfolded to detract. First we ordered a glass of wine and when it was poured we given the last 2 or 2.5 ounces of wine (about half a normal glass). I wasn't going to complain, maybe that is just how this place does it, but my wife noticed a fly in it and refused to drink bug laden wine. Thankfully the restaurant opened a new bottle and gave us a real glass of wine. Shortly after the wine issue, a party of approximately 20 children aged 6 to 8 flooded into the restaurant. Half the group was composed of quiet well mannered children but the other half was loud, rambunctious and completely ruined whatever atmosphere the restaurant had. If I knew that screaming children would be running around the tables we would have chosen a different establishment or been more prepared for the noise. The waitstaff seemed somewhat overwhelmed with only a half full restaurant and were not really attentive. Several other patrons seemed to have the same opinion of the loud crowd of children, we recieved a glance and an eyebrow raise from two Italian women who promptly finished their meal and left. We had a fantastic dinner here thanks to the recommendation of our hosts at nearby Miataland. This is a beautiful restaurant with a patio that looked like it would be heavenly in the summertime. Service was excellent and we got by with a mix of speaking English and Italian. The menu is only available in Italian but Google Translate made it easy to order. We started with Il Paté di Nonna Lina (typical Umbrian paté), Mozzarelline (fried mozzarella), and focaccia with fresh olive oil, all of which were excellent. My dinner was L'Oca, perfectly fluffy gnocchi with a rich goose ragú, and my husband tried the Re Piccone, a selection of pigeon served multiple ways. Premetto che non amo recensire i ristoranti che frequento ma per Il Fiaschetto farò uno sforzo. Se lo merita. Domenica sera ero nella comitiva del Sig. Cristian Fabrizi, quella comitiva che aveva prenotato un giro pizza ed invece si è ritrovata a pagare un banchetto nuziale. Pizza e fritti buoni, affettati anche ma con il servizio e soprattutto con il conto non ci siamo proprio. È vero abbiamo prenotato per 52 ed alla fine ci siamo presentati soltanto in 37 (soltanto) ma è anche vero che io la sera precedente avevo chiamato per dire che strada facendo c’erano state della defezioni, cosa che sia la proprietaria che la cameriera hanno negato fino alla fine. Forse perché gli antipasti sono stati preparati con larghissimo anticipo, il paté dei crostini era diventato nero sui bordi quindi…! Ma al di là del cibo, per il quale ho dato 4 stelle nonostante il paté, è il conto che non torna. Dunque, ricapitolando, da 52 siamo passati a 37, ed eravamo lì per un giro pizza. I 52 antipasti sono stati comunque serviti, MANGIATI e messi in conto. Il giro pizza non è stato rispettato da tutti, una una persona era celiaca e, come da accordi telefonici, ha ordinato della carne, altri hanno ordinato una pizza “personale”, insomma più che un giro pizza è stato un giro antipasto. Alla fine in 37 abbiamo speso POCO MENO di 700 Euro. 700 diviso 37 fa circa 19 euro 19 per 3 fa 57 Euro e non 112 come ha pagato il Signor Fabrizi e neanche 90 come ho pagato io sempre per 3 persone o 40 e passa euro come ha pagato un altro avventore che era da solo. Fossero stati anche 1000 gli euro da dividere in 37 comunque non sarebbero state pagate le cifre di cui sopra. Alla luce di tutto questo se ne deduce che i signori del Fiaschetto non hanno bisogno né di un corso di pizzeria perché ripeto la pizza era buona, né di ripetizioni di aritmetica visto che i conti gli sono tornati alla grande, né di clienti visto come vengono trattati i malcapitati che transitano dalla sala.
