Galea Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Colle di Val d'Elsa

There are few eateries of interest along the stretch of road leading to Colle di Val d'Elsa but this one was worth investigating. We were not disappointed. We were warmly greeted by the new owner, of Calabrian origin, who sources his fish from his native coast. Stopped for lunch after hiking the muddy trails. Attentive and friendly proprietors and a great kitchen. Had the vegetable sformato and vegetable camponato along with some cozze (mussels) and linguine con cozze. Accompanied by some very decent house white wine - perfect post hike meal. We went here for lunch, located a few minutes from a beautiful waterfall. The staff is very friendly, funny and helpful. A spacious terrace. The food was amazing, also quick service! We ordered different dishes: mussels, pasta with seafood, carpaccio, meat with mushrooms. All of the dishes were absolutely delicious! Good value for your money. We would definitely recommend...
