Wow! Are you exploring Colle Val D'Elsa as a tourist or a local? Are you on the hunt for the perfect spot to savor exceptional local cuisine right in the heart of this medieval town? And are you seeking a warm and welcoming atmosphere where the staff treats you like cherished friends? If you've answered yes, yes, yes, then you absolutely must pay a visit to Oste Di Borgo.
While the interior is cozy and intimate, there's also the option to dine outside in the charming covered plaza, adding to the exclusive appeal of this establishment. Their menu showcases the finest seasonal ingredients, delivering dishes that are both simple and surprising.
During our visit, my friends and I indulged in the artichoke salad and poached egg on pea cream, followed by the tartare and pasta with butter and anchovies, as well as pasta with legume cream and "gota cotta." Every bite was incredibly satisfying and delicious, leaving us pleasantly stuffed. Yet, we couldn't resist sampling their desserts—the chocolate cake and "bianco mangiare" with strawberries—and we're so glad we did.
And to top it all off, we were attended to by the most exceptional server, Alessandro! He truly made our experience unforgettable, and from observing the other guests, it was clear they were having the same experience.
A big shout-out to Oste di Borgo; if only I could, I'd dine...

Desserts change on a weekly basis. I extremely enjoyed the tartar meat with salad and some executive sauce. Very often such a meal is not enough to feed up, but this is not the case here. I assume there was about 250 grams of meat only. We also had a delicious experience of homemade red wine and local grappa. Highly recommended for those who seek authentic...
