Decent food with horrible service in an warm but beautiful underground cellar.
We requested a bottle of wine and put in our order and then sat there empty handed for over an hour and a half. We watched every single table, including those who came in an hour after us receive drinks and food...still nothing. After 3 plus requests to a head waiter who seemingly refused to look our way (Perhaps due to us being American) we finally received our waters and wine thanks to a young, newly employed waiter who was very apologetic.
The place was nearly empty by the time we were offered any service and wasn't that busy to begin with. So there truly was no excuse.
Wild boar tagliatelle was very good as were the desserts. Do you know what was better? The food and service directly across the street at a lively little restaurant...
Read moreI would love to give to restaurant more stars but i just can't. Stuff working at the restaurant are the same as working in the hotel and they are very nice, polite and friendly. The location of the restaurant is also very nice. The food in 2 times eating there was 1 time very good and 1 time quite bad. There aren't many choices at the menu, which is understandable, since they want to serve fresh food and since it is for more or less the guest of the hotel. Ragu was very good, but the chicken wings very VERY small and only bones more or less served with 3 pieces of vegetabe and 3 potatoes and it costs 18 euro, additional potatoes that i ordered were 6€ and were served cold. So basically 24€ for chicken with potatoes and then even not good or served correctly i was disappointed. Selection of wines is big and they...
