A very nice little hotel in Colle Umberto, Italy. Besides the hotel for overnight stays, there is also a restaurant attached, that offers truly lovely food.
The hotel offers modern, clean and spacious rooms which are in perfect condition and well maintained. The same applies for the bathroom and the open shower cubicle. The breakfast was just perfect and offered cereals, yogurt, fruits, sweet cakes and cookies, as well as buns and toast. A nice choice of cheese and ham goes along with it. The coffee is very good, as well.
The staff is very kind and helpful and really make you feel welcome and at home.
The restaurant offers a'la carte dishes, that get freshly prepared and are just delicious (and absolutely affordable).
Summary: a little 3 star hotel, that is way better than the usual 3 star hotels. My rating...
Read moreThis was our first time in this area and the location was perfect for our plan to visit Prosecco Road. The hotel was easy to locate, very close to Vittorio Veneto and Conegliano. The room was very clean and the staff were very helpful. We are from Canada so their English was better than our Italian but we tried our best. The hotel has it's own restaurant which is helpful if you are not used to the narrow dark roads at night lol. The only reason why we did not give this a 5 star was the view from our room. The area is so beautiful we were hoping to have a view of the prosecco hills from our room. Next we will ask if there are rooms that have a better view, yes we will be back. Grazie...
Read moreI have now stayed here 3 times with business trips in Veneto and Fruili Venezia - at €52 per night and a 3 course meal including 2 large glasses of prosecco for €25 per head I believe this represents good value for money in upmarket Veneto. Also when I stayed the last time I believe most of the 27 rooms were booked up with a real mixture of cars in the car park - Croatia, Switzerland, Austria and Italy,||Very scenic views from the hotel which is at the top of a hill in the small village of Colle Umberto just a few miles outside Conegliano (home of Prosecco) and conveniently on the main Venice to...
