Ristorante Pizzeria Serena — Restaurant in Comelico Superiore

We had a really bad dinner experience at this restaurant , I normally don’t do reviews but I felt like this one doesn’t deserve the star rating it currently has.

I ordered a pesto pasta - a very safe dish i would’ve thought , it’s simple and easy to make and always good. But I got a very bland tasteless pasta, tasted NOTHING. I Added loads of salt and Parmesan but was not editable so had to leave all of it. My boyfriend ordered a pizza , and he got it probably 40 minutes after I had FINISHED my meal. We asked for it twice. Other tables that arrived later than us all got their pizza before him. Nobody updated us on when the pizza would be ready and when it finally arrived there was no apology. So first he had to sit and watch me eat , and then much later I had to sit and watch him eat. Not the kind of dinner we were expecting.

In general the service wasn’t good at all. We weren’t offered any water for the table (we ordered wine) and there was no salt / pepper unless we asked for it. Also at no point did anyone ask if we wanted more to drink even though we finished our drinks before the first dish arrived. A shame we had to pay a service fee for such a place where there was no service.

Would Not recommend anyone to eat here . There’s a place not far away called Agriturismo Botondoro that has amazing food , I wish we ate there every...

I stopped in that car park, just naturally to have a smoke and enjoy awesome view of the Alps , the road and that little town in the valley. This is when we realized that there is this Fantastic Ristorante Pizzeria Serena !!! It was the unique fresh air of Alps mixed together with the unique mellow Coffee smell and fresh bakery. When we walked up there we met the most natural welcoming waitress who just happened to walk out of doors with the big smile so friendly. We had the best ever service, the best in the world freshly made proper Italian pizza and spaghetti carbonara and a coffee. I have been many places and even after that place we dined in several restaurants in Italy and Venice. Even after a year until today, Ristorante Pizzeria Serena is the Best ever, proper Italian Ristorante, with the best Natural chef and staff. You must go there and try it and sit outside under the canopy and enjoy the food, their service, the view and the harmony. In my opinion even Gordon Ramsay will admit that. I have never in my life been so imprest about the quality of food and service in such unusual, super tiny village hidden in the Valley surrounded by the Alps. That Restaurant made me really appreciate the simplicity of Italy and of the Master Skills the Chief had. 10 golden stars for that place. You must go there to really understand what...

Ristorante pizzeria sulla strada per Padola (da S.Stefano). Il parcheggio riservato non é grande e quindi, se non si trova posto bisogna ce n'è uno un po più giù in strada. Il ristorante é gradevole, ben tenuto, pulito e con posti anche su terrazza esterna ben riparata da agenti atmosferici. Quindi si può scegliere se mangiare dentro, dove, se affollato c'è il classico casino assordante, oppure fuori.

Una volta parcheggiato si accede al ristorante tramite una scala, che, seppur comoda, con scalini belli larghi e con passamano, non consente ovviamente l'accesso a persone in carrozzina.

Il personale é preparato, gentile ma poco presente in sala. Bisogna infatti chiamare autonomamente il personale perché nessuno ti verrà a chiedere se vuoi altro... specialmente se c'è tanta gente. Direi che, per il numero abbondante di persone che ci lavorano, questa potrebbe essere una nota negativa.

Ma passiamo al cibo. Davvero ottima la pizza e ottimi gli ingredienti... forno a legna. Leggera, non bruciata e dallo spessore giusto (sottile ma non troppo). Ottima anche la parte ristorante che é ben preparata anche ad accettare piatti fuori menu senza alcun problema.

É un posto adatto ai bambini anche se non c'è un giardino o un parco giochi ma ovviamente c'è un menu per bambini. Confermo, non c'è un menu per vegani/vegetariani ma credo basti chiedere.

I prezzi sono nella norma.

In ogni caso, sommando il tutto e considerando quello che si trova in giro direi che 4 stelle sono più che meritate per il cibo ma per la "gestione" ne darei 3.

Nel weekend consiglio di prenotare. Per cena, aprono alle 18.00.

Lo consiglierei? Decisamente si! Se siete in zona credo che sia uno dei migliori ristoranti e pizzerie che possiate trovare e credo che basterebbe un po più di attenzione al cliente per renderlo un ottimo 4 stelle.

P.s. Terza volta che ci torno ed i problemi sono sempre gli stessi. Confermo l'ottimo cibo e la gentilezza ma confermo anche la poca presenza in sala. Per carità, il personale lo si vede girare e "correre" per il locale ma, a mio modesto parere, ci vorrebbe un po più di "consapevolezza" che il lavoro del cameriere non é soltanto quello di portare in giro cibi e bevande ma anche quello di "gestire" i tavoli! Spero vivamente migliorino in questo anche se capisco bene la difficoltà nel trovare personale preparato e stanziale. Forse una migliore suddivisione dei ruoli...
