When going to Baita Bondella, we arrived very late. Reason was that a tree had fallen on the road. We tried a detour, but this was not possible due to the very narrow streets.||We decided to go back to Como and try later in the evening. We finally arrived at 22:00.||||A very warm welcome was our part. If we wanted, we could still eat there. The owners had been waiting and were willing to keep the kitchen open.||||The rooms were rather basic, with shared bathroom for 4 rooms. Our neighbours made a lot of noise early in the morning, so we were up a little bit too early. ||||We had a great home made breakfast, before taking of to Peruggia.||||I stayed in Baita Bondella as a stop on the way from Antwerp to Peruggia. In fact, for this, the hotel is not the best choice. He serves breakfast personally - very attentive. Accommodation on 1100m high up over Como - wonderful view yet quite hard to reach - off the beaten track. After winding up hundreds of curves to Brunate, the last 2 kilometres through forest the road is more like a path. Not suitable for small and not powerful cars. Really an adventure. If you think, you're wrong, just go further. When you enter the forest, there'll be two more houses on the left side, then you'll reach Baita Bondella.||||We stayed there for only 1 night as a Transit.
