Baita Pradel — Restaurant in Comun General de Fascia

The location itself is quite pleasant, although not very easily accessible. Unfortunately, our experience was negatively affected by the food and service. We ordered three chicken cutlets, two of which were undercooked. After bringing this to the staff’s attention, they replaced them — but the replacements were also undercooked.

Service was also lacking; we waited approximately 15 minutes before anyone came to take our order. When we raised the issue about the raw chicken, the response was simply that “sorry, this is how we eat it.”

I would highly recommend taking the lift next to this restaurant up the mountain and walking about five minutes to the Rifugio Salei. The food there is of much higher quality, the menu is huge not like here, and the views are simply unbeatable. Ci siamo fermati in questa splendida baita al lato della pista da sci, e abbiamo fatto una sosta alla fine di una camminata ai primi di Agosto. Tenuta benissimo, pulita e molto ordinata vi dà subito l’idea che qui tutto funzioni al meglio. Infatti la struttura si presenta benissimo, numerosi sdrai per chi vuol prendere il sole o riposarsi dopo una camminata, numerose tavole sempre pulite sotto una tettoia al riparo dal sole, rastrelliera per bici. Un’eccellenza della zona per me, facilmente raggiungibile da una strada bianca che inizia lungo la strada del Pordoi nei pressi del laghetto artificiale vicino all’Hotel Lupo Bianco. A conduzione familiare si capisce subito quanto ci lavorino e quanto ci tengano i proprietari a questa struttura. La cucina è di alto livello come i piatti cucinati e ben presentati, dai taglieri a tutto il resto l’offerta è notevole. Guardate il menu per capire. Prezzi onesti! Qui abbiamo mangiato il miglior Yogurt con miele e castagne di tutta la Val di Fassa. A poca distanza si possono visitare le cascate basaltiche, una interessante formazione geologica. A pochi metri passa una importante pista di discesa per bici che inizia con una salita nella funivia poco lontano. Ottimo luogo per fermarsi x un ristoro sia in estate che in inverno con la neve.
