Col de Cuk — Restaurant in Comun General de Fascia

Abbiamo pranzato qui di domenica mentre eravamo di passaggio in moto e ci siamo trovati benissimo! Piccolo ma bellissimo rifugio dal cui esterno si può godere del panorama senza paragoni della Marmolada e a pochi passi dal lago di Fedaia. Inoltre, da qui si possono accedere a tantissimi percorsi da affrontare in trekking! Anche l'interno del locale non è affatto da me, tutto di legno ma moderno, ordinato e pulitissimo: davvero il posto perfetto in cui godersi qualche pietanza che scalda il cuore e l'anima! Il menù propone tutti piatti ovviamente della tradizione, con ingrediente locali e genuini! Noi abbiamo preso tre pizze, fatte a regola d'arte, cottura e croccantezza perfette e i vari topping, soprattutto quella de Cuk (con formaggio, speck, noci e miele) sono stati più che graditi! Sicuramente consigliata se avete voglia di qualcosa di più veloce! Io invece ho preso la polenta di Storo (un po' fuori zona ma comunque sempre molto apprezzabile) con formaggio di malga fuso: la porzione era gigantesca e il latticino veramente fenomenale! Una vera delizia di montagna per il palato! Non contenti, abbiamo preso anche dei dolci: torta della nonna, strudel e due yoghurt con mirtilli! Lo yoghurt credo sia uno tra i più buoni che io abbia mai mangiato e anche le torte sono state spazzolate perché fresche e fragranti! Il rapporto qualità/prezzo, calcolando l'ambiente e la location direi che è ottimo, anzi onesto rispetto ad altri locali della zona! Per quanto riguarda il servizio, siamo stati serviti da del personale gentilissimo, simpatico e molto disponibile che ci ha garantito una permanenza davvero piacevole! Quindi, consigliatissimo se...

Driving through the Dolomites, I spotted a little restaurant on a hillside that felt irresistibly romantic, so I turned my car around right away. What a surprise—it turned out to be the best meal of my entire trip.

The view alone lifted my spirits, but it was the kindness of the staff that truly warmed my heart. I’ve been ordering Margherita pizzas throughout Italy, but here I found my favorite—the freshness of the toppings blending perfectly with the nutty flavor of the dough. I even asked for extra olive oil and, though I was already full, I finished every last bite of the crust.

As I was leaving, one of the staff shyly asked me how to say “thank you” in Korean. When I came to pay, they pulled out a small note they had written so they wouldn’t forget, and called out “감사합니다!” with a big smile.

It was such a simple yet unforgettable gesture that made my very last day in Italy feel absolutely perfect.

In my opinion, this is a place worth making a special stop for.

산타막달레나로 가던 중, 언덕 위에 낭만적인 작은 레스토랑이 눈에 들어와 차를 바로 돌렸습니다. 그런데 웬걸, 이번 여행에서 가장 행복한 식사가 되어버렸어요.

빙하 풍경만으로도 기분이 좋아졌는데, 직원분들의 따뜻한 친절함에 마음까지 포근해졌습니다. 이탈리아에 머무는 동안 마르게리따 피자를 일부러 계속 먹어왔는데, 이곳이 단연 최고였습니다. 상큼한 맛과 더해지는 고소한 반죽의 풍미가 완벽했고, 올리브 오일을 더 달라 해서 배가 부른데도 테두리까지 다 먹었을 정도예요.

마지막에 직원분이 한국말로 “감사합니다”를 어떻게 말하는지 물어보시더니, 계산할 때 잊지 않으려고 메모장에 적어둔 글을 보며 환하게 “감사합니다!”라고 외쳐주셨습니다.

그 따뜻한 순간 덕분에 제 이탈리아 마지막 날 여행은 완벽하게 마무리되었네요.
