Bel rifugio situato quasi alla fine della Val Contrin, raggiungibile in poco più di due ore di cammino dal parcheggio della funivia di Alba (volendo c'è una navetta che con 32 euro complessivi porta alla Baita Locia evitando la dura salita iniziale). Si trova 5 minuti dopo il più "famoso" Rifugio Contrin, ma ne vale la pena sia per la vista del fine valle che per il cibo. L'edificio è nuovo ed ha pochi posti a sedere. Dentro si respira l'aria di chi ama la montagna e ci tiene a far apprezzare a chi arriva fin quassù il piacere delle cose buone e genuine, anche se semplici.
