Location: 4/5 really cute and cozy

Service: 2/5 mostly because of the strange situation with the Chef? We had a nice waitress and suddenly he showed up, asked us to try the dips for 12€, we rather wanted some Dessert instead of an appetizer, so we declined and wanted to make our order, as he was asking us. But instead he just left without a word. So we waited again for a different waitress.

Food: 2/5 Sadly the meals are not very flavourful. As the menu is very international you expect a lot of flavours and spices. 16€ for 5 small pieces of seitan (which had a nice texture btw) and a little portion of potatoes is not a good value since Im still hungry afterwards. Also the presentation is very poor. It would be easy to make it a little more good looking. The cake was nice. Everything seemed fresh.

While on holiday in nearby Caldonazzo in 2021, we discovered there was a vegetarian restaurant in the small town of Tenna, but we didn't have a chance to eat there before we had to go back to Belgium. But we made up for it in 2022! And what a treat it was! For vegetarians, Italy is not always the easiest country to find a reasonable selection of veg dishes in restaurants, but the chef and his team sure made up for that. Original tastes, a unique combination of cuisines from Africa, the Middle East and the Mediterranean region, a unique setting in this quiet little town overlooking the lake of Caldonazzo... this little gem of a restaurant made us smile all the way through. Thank you Franco, for providing the world with these amazing dishes! Hopefully we'll see each other...

You don't have to travel the world to taste the world. Veg Point offers exquisite slow food cooking, and a lot of warmth, originality and love. Love for the people and feeding people well. Some of the aromas were incredible and just beyond my horizon. If you like to cook and fancy a new experience, it's worth travelling from far just to try Franco's kitchen for one evening. Make sure you don't rush it. Take your time. Let the dishes develop.

Der Veg Point in Tenna war eine etwas speziellere Erfahrung. Als wir eintrafen saß der Besitzer und Koch noch vor dem Lokal und war nicht begeistert davon, dass wir zu früh dort waren und auch nicht reserviert hatten. Da Montags in Tenna kein anderes Restaurant geöffnet hatte, waren wir damit einverstanden ins bei einem Getränk noch eine halbe Stunde zu gedulden. Das Lokal ist im nepalesischen Himalayastil eingerichtet und dient auch als Ausstellungsraum der Reisefotos des Besitzers. Während die Servicekraft die Tische eindeckte, warteten wir weiterhin darauf unsere Getränke zu bestellen. Nach 15 Minuten gab es dann ein sehr leckeres Biobier und eine Biocola sowie die Menükarte. Bei der Aufnahme der Bestellung fragte meine Frau die Bedienung, ob der Besitzer im Nepal war und als diese das bejahte, sagte meine Frau, dass ich auch mehrmals im Nepal und ab dem Zeitpunkt entspannte sich die Stimmung und der Besitzer kam an unseren Tisch um uns zu fragen wie uns das vegetarische Bioessen schmecken würde und es war in der Tat sehr gut, etwas zurückhaltent mit den orientalischen Gewürzen aber geschmacklich insgesamt überzeugend. Wir hatten gut gewürzten Dinkel mit Gemüsesauce, Crespelle mit Bokoli, getrockneten Tomaten und Bergkäse, rote Beete Tartar auf einer Avocadocrème mit Salat und Chapatiherzen und Ricottagnocchis dazu noch einen Biotafelwein. Fie Verabschiedung vom Besitzer war sehr herzlich.

Sono stato per cena in comitiva poco piu di un mese addietro in questo locale, che ho scoperto grazie agli altri membri del gruppo. Il Veg Point ha un arredamento e uno stile orientaleggiante, che, indubbiamente, si riflette sui piatti. Abbiamo mangiato, tra le altre cose, come antipasto la tavolozza dei colori con pane chapati cotto con anima di formaggio e sei diverse salse, come primo i cavatelli con pecorino, pere, panna e misto di pepe, come secondi i falafel con indivia in insalata e tosella di Vezzena con sedano rapa panato e indivia in insalata, infine, come dessert i cookies al cioccolato e il sogno di mela, che è un dolce tedesco con crema di ricotta e mousse di mela. Il locale è oggettivamente accattivante e il cibo nel complesso buono, per quanto possibile in un ristorante vegetariano che cucina anche piatti vegani (premetto che non sono un estimatore del genere e che quindi mi sto sforzando di essere obbiettivo), tuttavia il servizio è solo discreto e, alla fine, il conto di circa 23 Euro a testa è risultato abbastanza salato per aver mangiato dei piatti realizzati bene e con buoni ingredienti, ma che non hanno del tutto saziato i commensali. Per gli amanti del genere, che sicuramente potrebbero maggiormente apprezzare, il Veg Point è consigliato.

This place is amazing! There's so much love in their food. It's well balanced and fresh. The people are friendly and have helpful recommendations about the menu and a story to tell. We felt very welcome and came back the next day. I especially loved the orechiette, but everything else was delicious too. Whether you're a vegetarian or not - I recommend you go eat here.

This place is amazing! There's so much love in their food. It's well balanced and fresh. The people are friendly and have helpful recommendations about the menu and a story to tell.
