May 2014, picked up a half board 4 night stay for £220 each ex Glasgow, via Thomson company Crystal ...We originally booked two nights Scotland, this was cheaper and we are new to Italy, so ....Blairgowrie or Lake Garda....Erm let me think..||Hotel was 3 star , summer on the lake, winter Après ski..keeps it turning over..View from small balcony stunning , dated decor but nevertheless comfortable and an easy to relax , bathroom clean functional and good strong shower from which hot water turned Luke warm just before meal times.||Bar again comfortable , organist at weekends, happy hour cocktails 5 to 7...restaurant was superb to dine in as lots glass overlooking lake...food was good lots of choice..||Staff are 5 star always doing more than you expect with a smile.||20 minute walk into promenade village of Limone with small ferries disappearing in all directions lots of small front bars and restaurants....the local cocktail looks like a large Brandy glass of Irn Bru..but not to our taste ||All in all great location for quiet break, very few children 3 hours bus to Venice ,we'll worth visit as is Malcesne over the ferry 9€...

Once again, we had the pleasure of visiting beautiful Pregasina and Hotel Panorama. From the balcony of our room, we had an incredible view of Lake Garda, the opposite Monte Baldo, and Riva del Garda. When the southern night falls and the city lights begin to shine, the atmosphere is simply magical.

The hotel rooms are small and modest, but very clean and functional. This is not 5 star hotel so no air con either. The place feels like a family owned property. The hotel’s restaurant is excellent, it offers simple and delicious Italian food, and it too offers a stunning view of Lake Garda. The staff are multilingual and friendly. The hotel also features a lovely outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers. From Pregasina, there are numerous fantastic hiking and cycling trails. If you're arriving by car, be cautious after the last tunnel—the road becomes very narrow, so watch out for oncoming traffic in the curves. This hotel is our favorite, thanks to its excellent value for money and superb location....

My review is for the restaurant. Excellent selection of both local offerings and pan-Italian pastas known to all. I was brought to this beautiful spot by a local friend from Arco, who loves both the quality of food as well as the portions (pasta portions were ridiculously generous). We started with carne salada and vitello tonnato (local antipasti), and continued with a very delicious aglio/olio/peperoncini pasta and a plate of canederli (another local-style dish). I would have loved to have a “secondo”, but there was absolutely no space left in my stomach. With dinner, we drank an excellent local red wine, which was a nice surprise. Anddddddd, we capped off dinner with a tiramisu, an espresso, and...a shot of grappa! Highly recommend you go to this restaurant when in the Riva del Garda area. It’s a 10-15 minute drive, and it can also be reached by foot if you are walking the “sentiero del Ponale” trail that hugs the lakeshore. Consigliatissimo! —Jason, San Diego, California

We have been at the hotel during our motorcycle trips in July 2020. Rooms are basic, but clean and tidy, providing a very good sleep. We had a stunning view on the lake as well. The hotel offers a covered parking for motorcycles and they offer various services for bike (bicycle) riders as well, with a repair station, charger, storage, etc. Food is home made and very good, with a selection of Italian plates. Deserts are also awesome. Breakfast has also a good selection and well prepared, taking into consideration the measures during Covid. The personnel is very friendly and kind. Overall, I recommend this place if you are looking for something off the crowded areas near the lake. Great service, good food and a good sleep with stunning vistas.
