Ristorante Pizzeria Alla Pergola — Restaurant in Comunità Alto Garda e Ledro

Came here tonight after a recommendation from a friend. The restaurant is very nice inside and the food was definitely above average. Our whole experience tonight was however blemished by the downright unfriendly head waitress. The whole evening her unfriendlyness was present and as we wanted to pay the bill separately she didn't want to split it down for us to pay for what we ate. We had to pay the whole bill at once and spit it when we get back to the hotel. This is definitely not what I expect from a well visited restaurant that is used to dealing with tourists. I don't think I would come here again. There are plenty of other restaurants around where the service is really friendly. Another down point for this restaurant is the fact that there is only one mens toilet and one womens toilet for probably 50 tables. I had to wait about 10 minutes to...

Sadly we had a bad experience. Wrong dish came but no problem they will fix this. Problem fixing this took well over 30 plus mins, people who arrived after us who ordered the same received theirs 15 mins before us. So everyone else had eaten before my dish arrived. Problem 2 : if you order off a German/English menu the prices are not correct they are old and prices are cheaper than what you will be charged. Kürzlich wieder eröffnet unter einem neuen Besitzer. Nach mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten Essen im bisherigen Pergola haben wir heute Abend das "neue Pergola" ausprobiert. Neuer Besitzer, neue Innenausstattung mit neuer Wandgestaltung (wenn man die Gemälde anschaut, ist man geneigt, nur noch kleine Portionen zu essen), neuer Toilettenvorraum, neue Empfangsbar, neues Personal, neue Gestaltung der Plätze im Freien. Geblieben ist der große, kostenlose Parkplatz. Es gibt kostenloses Gäste-WLan. Die Begrüßung ist sehr freundlich und professionell. Man wird zum Platz geführt. Alles sieht sehr sauber aus. Die Tische neu, ohne Tischdecke, mit Papierplates. Sehr umfangreiche Speisekarte in drei Sprachen (auch in Deutsch). Extrakarte für Weine (Flaschen und offene Weine) und Extrakarte für andere Getränke. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Nachdem wir die neue Speisekarte studiert hatten, bestellten wir zum Kennenlernen ein Carne Salada mit Borlottibohnen und für meine Frau Strangolapreti. Dazu eine Maiselweisse und ein Ayinger Kellerbier. Alles hat vorzüglich geschmeckt. Die Portionsgrößen sind voll ausreichend. Man sollte Hunger mitbringen und nicht, wie meine Frau, noch kurz vorher ein Eis gegessen haben. Als Dessert bestellten wir trotzdem noch ein Vanilleeis mit warmen Heidelbeeren sowie ein Tartufoeis. Ganz zum Schluss einen klassischen Espresso. Zusammengefasst: Es war alles perfekt und wir waren mit dem "neuen Pergola" sehr zufrieden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
