This place is sinfully heavenly. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. It’s is a memorable and wonderful experience that is authentically Italian. It’s not just the wonderful setting or the delicious food, but it’s the people. I have to give a huge heartfelt shoutout to Paola and Fabi who went above and beyond to make us feel like treasured guests. Their warmth, hospitality, and passion for what they do made each experience with them unforgettable. And yes, we went back numerous times and never once regretted it. I honestly wish I would have taken more pictures to give you all a better understanding of the amazingness that was/is each and every dish. I truly believe that you would be ungodly impressed and satisfied with everything on the menu. Their house wine was refreshing and light. You are doing yourself a disservice if you order anything smaller than their 1 liter. While working your way through your entree and dessert you will not regret having this smooth wine to sip and chat over. Because the food… the food… just wow… sinfully heavenly. The pizza crust is light and perfectly crisped. The ingredients on each pizza have been perfectly crafted to create a balanced and flavorful experience. Each bite was created with an intentional love that speaks to the passion of the people who run it. The pasta is equally stunning— homemade, richly sauced, and so comforting you’ll want to cry happy tears. And Paola’s tiramisu is a dream— like literally I still dream about it. It is rich, creamy, bold, and perfectly layered! If you go (and you have to go) please do yourself a favor and order this dish. If I was not already happily married, I might have proposed to Paula just to ensure a continual supply of this tiramisu. It’s as they say a “marry me” dessert. (Hint hint Fabi… ) In all honesty though their other desserts are/looked amazing too. I have also had their gelato and it was the perfect sweet treat. I just know all of their desserts are top notch. To Paola and Fabi— thank you for making our time so special. Your kindness, humor, and care are what make Ristorante Pizzeria al Sole not just a great restaurant but a place people carry in their hearts long after they leave. You both clearly work hard to create a reason to return to this wonderful town. Whether you are a local or just passing through—come here, eat anything (because you cannot go wrong) and enjoy an experience that is equal parts culinary brilliance and...
Read moreWe had dinner at this pizzeria-restaurant located in a tourist area, and we were quite satisfied with the experience. The venue is welcoming and well-maintained. Despite having a large staff, the service was fast and efficient.
The food is of good quality: the pizza, though not exactly to my taste, was well made, while the calzone was particularly enjoyable. We also ordered meat and soup, both well prepared. The venison portion was adequate, though perhaps a slightly larger serving would have been even better. The blonde beer was excellent.
Overall, a good restaurant, suitable for groups and anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience in a...
Read moreIf you are anywhere in Val di Sole, you need to visit Ristorante Pizzeria al Sole. This is my wife and my favorite Pizzeria in all of Italy! At the time I'm writing this review, I've had almost every pasta dish on the menu and at least half of the pizzas and desserts. Everything I've eaten here has been excellent. To top it off, the family that runs this Pizzeria are some of the most welcoming and funny people I've met anywhere in this world! Always welcomed with smiles and followed by great conversation. I will always come back here when I'm near, and I would highly recommend that you too stop here for some amazing food and...
