We had the best pasta of our whole life today at Laboratorio Gastronomico Luzzani!

Even though we arrived at 3:45 pm we were still offered an amazing (late) lunch and felt completely welcome. We had the place to ourselves and felt like royalty. We ordered il vino di giorno (white wine), Mortadella, Pasta with ragu (bolognese) and cheese and Tortelloni filled with sheep cheese and tomato basil sauce. We had espresso with homemade cookies as our desert. EVERYTHING tasted amazing and maybe it was worth coming to Lago d‘Idro just for this meal. The service was great and the owner and chef explained everything to us, told us about the interior and served us the food. The interior itself is very clean, but warm, modern and with a tint of humor.

A big plus: the wheelchair accessibility plus accessible restroom! Bravo!

Simply amazing. One of the best food I have ever eaten in Italy, and we go there quite regularly. Leave tourists traps on lago idro and go there! Nice menu, fabulous food, both antipasto and primo piatti. Tagliata and desert, both superb....
