Great place for a lunch in the middle of nature, with mountain view and away from the relatively posh town centre of Campiglio. I went at the end of the summer season so we could eat outside but there were a very few other people around. Familiar, cozy and informal service, while the food is the typical delicious “malga” syle: fixed-price rustic menu with a cheese & ham starter (from the malga) and main of polenta+something also locally made/picked (mushrooms, melted cheese, salamina, pork chop, gulash...). Take the lovely walk from Campo Carlo Magno or from the departure point of the Grosté cablecar and follow the path along the awesome ferest and the sky slope to reach this great Malga. The brothers who run it produce a great cheese called Carlo Magno which you can purchase on the premises. We had a great bottle of Franciacorta with some charcuterie and cheese then polenta di storo with pork steaks, mushroom, sauerkraut and the most amazing melted cheese I have ever had (they make that cheese too). Siamo stati qui per pranzare e prendere qualche prodotto tipico. Il posto merita se non fosse per il modo che la signora che, a quanto ho capito gestisce il posto, ha di trattare i clienti. Abbiamo pranzato in una bellissima giornata di sole con mio marito e la bambina, all esterno nel giardino, siamo andati una prima volta a chiedere cortesemente se era possibile aprire un ombrellone, per riparare almeno la bambina di un anno che mangiava, dal sole battente,all'inizio siccome una nuvola aveva coperto il sole ci ha risposto che non era così tanto soleggiato e abbiamo acconsentito, in un secondo momento siccome il celo era tornato terso abbiamo chiesto nuovamente gentilmente se si poteva aprirlo, una dello staff ci ha detto che potevamo procedere noi se sapevamo come perche erano tutte molto occupate...a fine pranzo esce urlando la proprietaria che prima di aprire bisogna chiedere senza nemmeno rivolgersi a noi e dandoci modo di spiegare che EFFETTIVAMENTE AVEVAMO CHIESTO E CI ERA STATO DETTO DI APRIRLO PERCHE LORO ERANO TROPPO OCCUPATE !!!!!.....Pessimo modo di trattare i clienti e le persone che spendono, visto che non ci siamo permessi in alcun modo di prendere nessuna iniziativa ma abbiamo sempre gentilmente chiesto. Ricordatevi che lavorate con la gente e i soldi che vi portano, e se volete rispetto lo dovete dare!!! Per questo non lo...
