What a lovely place. We passed through town and stumbled in around 2 p.m. and asked if they would still make us some lunch. We were welcomed immensely friendly by the owner who swiftly offered us a baby seat for our daughter. We ordered Antipasti alle Casa, Gulash con Polenta and Pasta alla Selvaggina and everything was absolutely incredible and satisfying. We could really tell that everything was homemade with lots of love. The quality of the food was outstanding! Don't let yourself be fooled by the somewhat old school interior - you will be rewarded with authentic and fantastically tasteful dishes and warm-hearted people. I barely speak Italian and he barely spoke English but we made an effort and were able to communicate well enough! The location and restaurant is just charming! So warm and welcoming. Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti dai gestori che ci hanno messo subito a nostro agio. La trattoria esternamente sembra un bar di paese, ma una volta entrati, si sente un calore ed un'atmosfera genuina ed accogliente, tipica delle località montanare. Abbiamo preso un antipasto veramente gustoso ed abbondante (che abbiamo diviso in quattro), un piatto di canederli al burro fuso, un piatto del giorno con cotechino, brasato, polenta e crauti, e due brasati con patate fritte e verdure.
