What a memorable experience, this place. Only problem is, that it is not a particularly good memory. The place sure is beautifully built, the atmosphere is really nice, the interior well appointed, the servers well dressed. However that is all that was positive unfortunately. I dont want to make this review too long so i just list the things that I did not like: no drink menu, so you will not know until you pay how much your drink costs; the food menu you get is highlights only, there are many that is not on the menu, once again, you will not know how much anything costs until you pay; food did not arrive at the same time for people sitting together at one table; we were told that splitting the bill is not possible, but at the end we saw another table was allowed to split it. All of these problems could have been solved really easily, if there was at least one server or owner who speaks english well enough to have a real conversation with, alas there wasn’t one. For a place located right next to the ski slopes, this strikes me as a serious oversight from the owners. I am pretty sure that locals/Italian tourists will like this place, but if you do not speak Italian, i can not recommend this place with good conscience. An sich ein tolles Restaurant, kurz bevor wir eintreten durften lief uns jemand mit einer frischen Pizza entgegen. Uns wurde nach 10Minuten Wartezeit ein Platz zugewiesen und wir wurden gut bedient.

Als wir Pizza (entsprechend der Karte) bestellten , sagte man uns, dass es hier leider keine gibt. Offensichtlich gibt es in dieser Region keine Pizzen. Ok... Man kann ja auch nicht davon ausgehen, dass es in Frankfurt Main Bratwurst mit Sauerkraut gibt. Am meisten störte mich aber an der Sache, dass wir extra bis zur Öffnungszeit gewartet haben, weil wir (hungrig) endlich mal eine Pizza essen wollten und dies auf der Karte angeboten wird.

Ich war nah dran das Restaurant zu verlassen und mir eine Tiefkühlpizza zu holen, da Pizzen hier offensichtlich unter strengem Naturschutz stehen und nicht geschlachtet werden dürfen (Scherz). Nun ja das Personal war nett und hat uns eine Nudelart mit Fleisch angeboten, die auch wirklich geschmeckt hat. Nicht mit italienischer Küche aus Udine zu vergleichen, aber besser als in einem einfachen, deutschen Restaurant. Ich finde es nicht in Ordnung wenn sich ein Restaurant „Pizzeria“ nennt, dies aber nach dem Hinsetzen des Gastes ausgeschlossen wird.

Zumal uns, kurz vor Öffnung des Restaurant, noch jemand mit Pizza entgegen kam. Es ist wie für ein Badesee Eintritt zu bezahlen aber im See gibts kein Wasser. :-) Preis war hierfür auch recht hoch.

Fazit: Ein Schnell-Restaurant das sich eher auf Grund der guten Verkehrs- und Landlage mit Gästen füllt. Pizza gibt es nicht...
