Recommended place by locals, so we went there to test it out and we really wanted to like it as the restaurant was located in a beautiful spot. They didn't offer us to sit indoor and shortly after we've made our order, there were some couples smoking a lot with no care that we sat with a child. As we heard a couple of German speakers were offered to sit indoor I asked if we could be placed inside instead, but no "- it's full" and shortly after a new German company was offered to sit indoor. About the food, my risotto with mushroom was rather good even though I would have preferred the rice with a tad more bite.

My child's pizza on the other hand - the dough was dry and tasted rather boring and reminds of a pizza made in a domestic oven, tomato base tasted sweet like boiled pelati (not s. Marzano). From what I've seen at other places in the surroundings I can't decide if it is a tourist pizza or the way it's done...

Wenn man einen Platz ganz außen hat, ist die Aussicht ganz zauberhaft und die Pizzen sind ok. Dafür gibts 2 Sterne. Drei müssen wir leider abziehen, weil wir tatsächlich etwa 10 Minuten an unserem Tisch ignoriert wurden bevor wir überhaupt einen Teil der Karte erhielten. Den anderen Teil der Tageskarte gab es erst auf Nachfrage. Unsere Bestellung wurde erneut erst nach weiteren 20 Minuten aufgenommen, um uns herum wurde nett mit den Gästen geplaudert und gescherzt. Obwohl andere später kamen, erhielten diese Karte und Speisen zügiger. Zwischenzeitlich gab mit dann der Kellner dann mit einer abfälligen Geste, als wäre ich eine lästige Fliege, zu verstehen, dass ich ein Stück nach vorn zu rutschen habe. Ein nettes “per favore” hätte eigentlich auch gereicht….Unser Essen kam dann zu sehr unterschiedlichen Zeiten, trotz der Bitte, alles zusammen zu servieren. Ich hatte gegrillte Artischocken sowie Saltimbocca alla Romana bestellt. Ersteres war fad und einfallslos, Saltimbocca war extrem versalzen, so dass das Drumherum nicht mehr zu schmecken war. Für 2 Hauchzarte lieblos zubereitete Scheibchen 12€ und dann noch so versalzen war echt unfassbar. Kombiniert mit dem arroganten Kellner, den billigen Papiertischdecken und dem Brötchenkorb mit 2 Minibrötchen für drei Personen, war das leider eines der schlechtesten Restaurants, in denen wir je gegessen haben. Schade, denn die Bewertungen versprachen einen schönen Abend und Abschluss unserer Wanderung. Ach ja, unsere Tochter fragte, ob sie die Pizza Cardinale vegetarisch ohne carpaccio (rohe Rindfleischscheibchen)haben dürfe. Bekam sie, zahlte aber den vollen Preis, als wäre das Teuerste auf der Pizza drauf gewesen.
