Lovely local restaurant full of charm and a great kitchen! A must!

I've been around the world and in hundreds of good restaurants. This place belongs to the group that a someone needs to recommend to you as you can't find it right off the main road i.e. in Luino. I was very happy to experience such a high quality of food. The wine cellar, ask them to show you around, provides a good number of nice bottles to go with the pasta, the wonderful risotto, the fish dish or the meat dish. If you are near Luino, make your way up to "Al Cortiletto", you will no regret it! If you don't speak Italian, don't worry about it, they also speak English if need be. The Risotto with white Asparagus (seasonal dish) was from another planet!...

Wonderful atmosphere. Delicious food that combines both Lombardia, Piemonte and the products from lago maggiore. The Service was warm, customer centric and with a high attention to details. This family run business welcomes you in this tiny village that can be easily overseen by tourists passing through. We found that little diamond near our Airbnb and would recommend this restaurant to friends and family. We came here and the place was full, so we made a reservation for dinner two days later. There must have been a mix-up with the names of the days in the week on the staff's part and I don't blame them for that. They have written down a wrong time and date but have been extremely unhelpful in fixing an issue they have caused. In the end they couldn't get us a table and told us so very disrespectfully.
