Mokai beach - the place where you get cheated.

Four of us arrived at Mokai Beach on Thursday 20/7 a little after 11 in the morning. There were many sunbeds available. We approached the waiter, who specifically showed us 4 sunbeds that we paid for. What we couldn't see at the time was that it was the four sunbeds that would certainly not see the shadow of the sun all day. The sunbed was positioned in such a way that, in relation to the sun and the trees that stood along the road, they would virtually never get sun. So nothing that they didn't know, and nothing that will be different either today or tomorrow. Virtually all other sunbeds got sun all day, while the beds we were assigned were in the shade all day. So - if you want to go to Mokai Beach, you either have to prepare to be well and truly cheated, or prepare to ask whether there is a guarantee that your seats are good enough.

Fantastic! We had one of our best lunches here. In Italy we’ve found really good salads are often hard to come by - Mokai Beach had some exceptional salads available - I had the Beach with prawns, tuna, olives, greens and mozzarella. The wife had the Mokai with artichoke, corn, walnuts, olive, greens.

Added to this, Mokai Beach cafe is in an incredibly beautiful spot, tables right by the water. Perfect place for some cold beers and delicious food.

Friendly staff who allowed us to speak in our very basic Italian when their English was obviously much better and fluent 😂
