I was there on February 2022. When I arrived, I was a little worried as I couldn't find the reception but I was directed to a team member of the restaurant who helped me. |Excellent small boutique hotel, 10 minutes from the center of Sondrio and close to the main road. The hotel is above a lively bar/ restaurant which serves great food and drinks all day at a very reasonable price. |Large free parking next door. |Only four rooms, designed in a contemporary style, with hidden TV behind a one way mirror. The room was fantastic and of higher quality than expected and I would definitely stay again if I were in the area. The bed was very comfy. |The breakfast is standard and you should order it from the previous night by filling out a form. |With the limited rooms available, you probably should book this place...

Questa mattina, intorno alle 8, mi sono seduto al tavolo esterno del bar per fare colazione e acquistare un pacchetto di sigarette. Purtroppo l’esperienza è stata pessima.

Dopo qualche minuto è uscita una dipendente – una ragazza tra i 20 e i 25 anni, alta circa 1 metro e 60, capelli castano chiaro di media lunghezza legati – che mi ha detto “arrivo subito”, salvo poi tornare dopo un’attesa prolungata con un atteggiamento strafottente. Le ho chiesto gentilmente un caffè e le sigarette, ma ha sogghignato rispondendo che “forse non poteva portare le sigarette fuori”. Le ho detto che le avrei pagate subito e che poteva portarmi il resto insieme all’ordine, ma ha risposto in modo ancora più acido e sgarbato.

A quel punto le ho fatto notare, con sarcasmo, quanto fosse simpatica, e le ho detto che sarei andato da un’altra parte. Lei ha replicato subito: “Allora vai.” E così ho fatto, ma non prima di mandarla a quel paese, esasperato dalla totale mancanza di rispetto.

Un comportamento simile, soprattutto a quell’ora del mattino, è inaccettabile. Non tornerò mai più.

This morning around 8 a.m., I sat at one of the outdoor tables to have breakfast and buy a pack of cigarettes. Unfortunately, the experience was awful.

After a few minutes, a staff member came out — a young woman between 20 and 25 years old, about 1.60 meters tall, with medium-length light brown hair tied back — and said “I’ll be right with you,” but didn’t return for a while. When she finally did, her attitude was smug and dismissive. I politely asked for a coffee and a pack of cigarettes, but she smirked and said she “probably couldn’t bring cigarettes outside.” I told her I could pay immediately and she could bring me the change with the rest of the order, but her reply was even more acidic and rude.

I sarcastically commented on how “friendly” she was and said I’d go somewhere else. Her only response: “Then go.” So I did — but not before expressing exactly how I felt about her attitude.

Such disrespectful behavior, especially first thing in the morning, is completely unacceptable. I will...
